Every polling place will have at least one accessible voting station that will be equipped with a headset that uses audio-assist features and a sip and puff system. All machines in the polling place have additional visual assistance features that will allow voters to increase the type size and/or change the color or contrast settings of the screen.
Audio-assist Features:
By using a headset, a voter who is visually impaired will be able to vote privately and independently. The voter will listen to the instructions and at the appropriate time will touch anywhere on the screen with the stylus to record each vote. Alternatively, voters may use the numerical
keypad to make selections.
